At PT Intera Lestari Polimer, we are committed to building a greener, more responsible future. As a masterbatch and plastic additive manufacturer, we continuously seek ways to reduce our environmental impact, adopt cleaner practices, and promote gender equality within our workplace. Sustainability, for us, means progress that benefits both industry and society.
As part of our climate action efforts, we have integrated solar panel systems into our operations, generating 1,186,279 kWh of renewable energy annually and reducing carbon emissions by 922 tons each year. We also offer a range of biobased products that support our goal of minimizing environmental impact and promoting a more sustainable future.
We develop masterbatch and additives that improve material efficiency and support better recyclability including additives designed to enhance the quality of recycled plastic. Our innovation also includes Enviplast®, a biodegradable material made from renewable resources.
As part of our commitment to the next generation, we offer the Outstanding Children Education Assistance Program to support our employees' families in their children's education. Through this program, we ensure that those who excel receive the support they need to thrive, helping build a brighter future for both our employees and the generations to come.
We prioritize gender equality as a key element in creating a fair, inclusive, and thriving workplace. We believe that offering equal opportunities for all, regardless of gender, is essential for building a more sustainable and balanced future. This commitment is reflected in the important roles women also play across our organization, where they contribute meaningfully to our growth and strategic direction.
As part of our commitment to sustainability and community development, we support waste management efforts through composting initiatives at TPS3R Mustika Ikhlas, provide facilities to improve waste processing, participate in tree planting activities, and organize blood donation drives each reflecting our dedication to environmental care and social responsibility.
At Intera Lestari Polimer, we are committed to addressing climate change by closely monitoring carbon emissions from our operations. We measure emissions generated by company vehicles and logistics activities based on monthly fuel consumption data, systematically collected by the General Affairs department using a standardized form prepared by the QHSE Manager. This initiative helps us assess our carbon intensity and supports our efforts to reduce environmental impact through data-driven decisions.
We believe that a safe workplace is the foundation of a strong organization. Intera Lestari Polimer consistently implements the Occupational Health and Safety Management System (SMK3) in accordance with Government Regulation No. 50 of 2012. By prioritizing health and safety, we ensure that every employee works in a secure and supportive environment, fostering well-being and long-term human capital development.
